HEARTS FOR HOMES: BILLING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR FAMILIES
Bester’s seeks to assist families, individuals, and veterans who are experiencing hardship or impacted by COVID-19 by providing essential needs and supplies. In doing so we hope to improve or prevent homelessness, hunger, and/or lack of readiness in the general public of Fulton, and Dekalb county.
OBJECTIVES
Create an awareness campaign for Fulton and Dekalb county to increase participation of qualified persons Provide bill assistance Food bank/organization referrals Provide Outerwear, blankets, COVID-19 supplies, toiletries, etc. Support sessions provided by certified support worker.
ACTIVITIES
We will enact programs that will coordinate logistics of resources depending on need: Homelessness Prevention Program (HPP) Food for Care (FFC) We will also provide Outerwear + COVID readiness supplies.
